Horoscopes

Reading the horoscopes in the local papers, in magazines, or on websites, is an activity that many participate in, on a daily basis.
There is no scientific proof that one can predict one's future by reading what your star sign says, but when many similarities between what your star sign reading says will happen, and what actually happens are genuinely picked up on, it may be worth your while to give them a glance from time to time, even if just for fun, or as guidelines to improve your life, or to be aware of taking extra care of yourself and your loved ones on certain days.
It may even be a little frustrating to allow oneself to totally believe in what the stars predict, and predictions of the future using other methods too. Who wants to realise, if they fully believe in predictions that they are no longer in control of their own destiny, or for people to believe that when something bad happens, it was meant to happen and that they could do nothing to prevent it? When horoscopes give light warnings and suggest ways to prevent bad things from happening, and you adhere to them, and something bad happens anyway, what then? Will you look back and tell yourself that it was destiny that you read your stars that day, and avoided what was suggested but that simply because your reading stated that that day wasn't going to be good, it was still cast in stone?
Imagine you're driving on your way home from work, or an outing, and suddenly remember you need to go to the shop. There are two shops you could go to, and you're coming up to the turn where you can either turn left or carry on straight. You can't decide which shop you'd rather go to, and the turn is right there now. It's a split second decision that has you carrying on straight. That decision alters everything thereafter. Because you've gone straight, the driver who would have otherwise pulled off at the next intersection has to wait a few seconds for you to first drive by. Because he waited, a few minutes later he witnesses a dreadful accident where two cars right in front of him collide. That would have been him had he not have had to wait for you to drive past him. Did you save his life? Or, trading places, you're the driver of that other car, somebody suddenly decides to turn off the main road further up, to go to a shop, and the main road is clear for you to drive into. A few minutes later a speeding car smashes into you and you are killed.
Believing in what the stars predict can be fun, but don't take it too seriously, or it will consume all your time. Imagine sitting and working out different scenarios for various events following something as simple as travelling straight or making a left turn. That one little incident has a domino effect, affecting the lives of many people, who in turn go on to affect the lives of many others. In the one shop you may have met a friend you hadn't seen in years, gone to tea with her the next day, when you would have otherwise stayed home, and you die in a car crash anyway. Every move you make, and everything you do, has repercussions. You would drive yourself mad sitting and thinking about it all.
Things just happen, but if you're curious to find out why, then do more than just read horoscopes, and really look into it, but don't kill yourself trying to find out information that nobody really knows anything about.
